A morning at Sassoon dockyard, Mumbai.
Mumbai , a thriller that unfolds so magically that it always leaves you wanting for more.
This mystical land has made generations of people fall in love with it.
Every time you feel that you’ve figured it out, it surprises you with a new twist to the tale!
On my journey to explore Mumbai, I came across a place too beautiful to ignore. A place where you can see life in its entire glory and misery at the same time.
The Sassoon dock, a place so lively that even a single experience over here humbles you. And ironically, it’s a fish market!
To see the chaos and the lively atmosphere at Sassoon dock one has to wake up early at 5 to visit the market to enjoy the chaos! Me with my two lazy friends Akash & Shibani, woke up at 4AM and traveled to Sassoon dockyard, which is located near Cuff Parade. Sassoon dockyard is the largest dockyard in Mumbai, It is also the biggest fish market in Mumbai!
As soon as I entered the market, I saw people running around with fish baskets on their heads, some chopping fishes, some bargaining, some cleaning fishes and people doing various sorts of work! This was the first time I had experienced such a chaos early in the morning! Finally, I started to click…people were shy, some people were yelling and some were requesting not to publish their pictures in the papers!
Finally I managed to click some pictures!!
Check them out!
