Country’s largest multicultural festival was on!!! And I had the amazing opportunity to cover the event on official capacity. Working for the prestigious Kala ghoda association is an honor in itself ! The association has been working selflessly since 1998, they have been preserving the heritage and art in the south Bombay district since 1999!
The association started the Kala ghoda arts festival (KGAF) annually in, February 1999. The festival usually starts from the first Saturday till the next Sunday in-total for 9 days! This is the biggest multicultural festival in India, it attracts people and tourists , not just from the city but from all over the country, and, indeed, the world!
It’s not every day you get to work with amazing people like Shiresh Karale, Brinda Miller, Geeta Castelino, Varsha Shiresh Karale, Nicole Mody etc who are not just the backbone of kgaf but they are the heart of it.
It’s not everyday you get to go to the balcony of David Sassoon library and click pictures.
It’s not everyday you get to meet Bollywood actors and world renowned Artists.
It’s not everyday that you get to go the green room of the top Bollywood actors.
It’s not everyday that you are interviewed by Hindustan Times.
Truly it’s not everyday that you get to work for Kala Ghoda Association!
I find myself very lucky to be working under the guidance of such amazing people!
